japanese people love insects WAY more than american's do. The Beetle Queen Conquers Tokyo looks backwards in history tracking their fascination. i love the very quick clip in the video of the kids doing really intricate pinnings. my old boss always wanted to have a pinning party and saved the dead insects in the freezer for that reason but still hasn't done it. now it's just creepy, but i like it.
